Mantrailing Scent Work Workshops & Progression Classes

“The best hide and seek game you’ll ever play.” 

Mantrailing is a scent work sport teaching dogs to trail a specific scent of a hidden person by sniffing an article belonging to that person. We then build value around following that scent trail until they find the person. FUN Fact - It’s the same training used in Search and rescue, the police and military but we train it for fun and enrichment!

Every dog is worked one at a time and on-leash making this scent work sport inclusive for ALL dogs including puppies, seniors, working breeds, nervous/shy dogs and reactive dogs!

No previous training is required! Items needed: Harness, Collar or bandana, 20-30ft longline, reward pots and your dog’s favourite reinforcers either high value food or toys! *Please note we will have longlines you can use for the workshop or class.

Your dog must be comfortable waiting in the car for short periods of time while the other dogs trail. If your dog has severe resource guarding please email me to discuss to ensure we can safely accommodate your dog.

PREREQUISITE: You must complete an Intro Workshop with a Certified Mantrailing Global Instructor before joining progression workshops and classes.

Introduction Workshop: $180.00 + GST (*Please note workshops are 3 hours) 

Progression drop-in classes: $50 + GST (*Please note classes are 60-90 min)

***Don’t think your dog can handle a group workshop or small class even worked one at a time? Maybe you need specific environments for your dog to succeed? No problem I can tailor the workshop and sessions to your dog’s specific needs via private sessions.
